Now we know that Ford doesn't carry any of the needed bits to put my truck back together...go figure.
But I need to know what the heck one of the parts is called that we are looking to replace.
We know we need a Neutral Safety Switch plug and pigtail, and the back-up light plug and pigtail, that attach to the tranny and a new fuse block. If anyone can help me out with the proper name...
The part in question is the junction box(?) ( where all the wires meet and are inserted into it then) it goes from the engine compartment firewall, to the inside of the cab. The pigtails mentioned before both plug into it. It is kinda like a big plug that has one side on the firewall, and one side inside the cab of the truck. The two sides screw together to lock them in place.
What the heck is the proper name for it? I don't want to sound like a total looney tune, like I do now,
when I call the wrecking yards checking for parts.
