Wheel Bearing issues?

as for the 1 in 50 statement I did one bearing on my 2007 at 110k and it came out with light love taps with a common hammer the other one I did at 183k and it took an 8lb sledge and a 24" pipe wrench with about 40 hard swings and the one I did at 110k I did again to inspect it at 183k and it came out pretty much by hand thanks to the anti-seize I used .... I been guinea pigging the ebay $40 specials and after 70k the first one i did felt like the grease demons sucked out all the grease but still held up better than the $150 parts store brands

all the ones I have bought came from the seller that goes by "detroitaxle" and they also have a shop not too far from where I live where they actually use the same hubs on some of their repairs

Basicaly, NHUB6 is hub 29 and NHUB30 is hub 67. This has been a longstanding question and the word from those who have used both is, they both work... Hub 29 comes with some extra hardware, but thats not used on the 06-10's. Hub 67 includes a clip that hub 29 doesnt, which was on the original one, so IMO, hub 67 is the correct one.
The one caveat here though is everything I have read is for a 4x4. however, yours being AWD, im not sure, since we dont see those all that often....

I found these hubs listed on the CarID website. They broke the numbers down for the Mountaineers. According to them, I need the NHUB6 (HUB29), only site to do so.
I ordered them from Rockauto on Wednesday and got them in on Friday. My son and I installed both on Saturday. Passenger side took some significant pounding with a hammer to convince it to let go. Driver side took some convincing but not near as much as the other side. Reinstalled both with anti-seize so that next time they might be a little easier. Everything was a match, harness and all.
With the vehicle on jacks, I couldn't tell which was bad. Driving the vehicle and steering left and right did not make the noise worse or better. I decided to order both sides. Good thing because after I had them both off and rotated them by hand they were both gritty and rough feeling.

Well done, now you won't have to worry about either front hub for years.
