Where should I mount this? It's a digital speedometer, about 3.5".

Somewhere you will notice it and it will be inconspicuous...dont wanna look ricey. Can you cut a hole where the factory one is and put it there?

I say put it on the steering column. A little Ricey maybe but cool IMO.

I don't wanna be a ricer, but digital speedometers are cool (this one also has 1/4 mile and 0-60 timing), and I won't need to go through all this work getting my stock speedo calibrated when I go bigger. I was thinking maybe the cluster or around that location. I'll probably end up doing that for now. This is a pretty big gauge so it's hard to find a good spot for it.

Put it on the rear bumper just above the ball hitch. That way when you SPANK a ricer, they'll know just how fast you were going...

I'm awesome...

steering column mounting pod.

Steering column pods kick arse, I just got one. Although, a gauge that big will not fit in a steering column pod.

Bolt it to your hood:D It will give you 20HP:D

LoL. I don't see why this is considered a ricer mod.. Anyways, there are no pods that size. I'll probably be mounting it in the plastic glass on the cluster. I think I'll need to get a special sensor from the company since my speedometer is cable driven.

What do you hope to gain by installing this?

I hope to gain a correct speedometer reading, regardless of tire size or gearing, as well as accurate 1/4 mile and 0-60 time for fun.

i'd say mount it just below the ashtray

I'd say on the steering column. Sounds kind of original. Always cool to do something different.

Yeah, I don't see why more people don't do digital speedos.. I haven't heard of any X's with them, though I'm sure there's at least one. Tomorrow I'm gonna wire everything up, I may not need their special sensor. It'll pretty much be on the steering column, I'm just gonna screw the 2 bolts into the cluster glass for the time being. I'm happy with it and that's all that matters :D .

Relocate the 4x4 buttons and put it there. Probably too big though, I can't tell from the pic.

It's not broken but it twitches.

I like the idea of cutting out the factory Speedo, then place the new digital one in the place where the stock one used to be.

Put in on the hood along with a big Type R sticker... you'll get 45 Horsepower immediatley. Dont forget the "la cu caracha" horn.... that adds onlt 10 HP though:p
