Which Brand of Shackles?

They won't hold up to jumping huh?
If I had the warrior deminions I would just make my own. I mainly need the highth and center to center on the holes.

Can anyone help me with that?

i would have to say somethings going to give regardless, ford didn;t design these trucks to fly, occasionally, hitting a sand hill wide open it happens.

im not real confident in any shackle in that situation.

Thanks. Ya I'll probably brace them like the Warrior one's I've seen. Do you know how much lift the bottom hole gives you?

I'm pretty sure that the bottom hole gave me about 1.5 inches, the top hole was the same length as stock ones if I remember right.

Have fun drilling them, you will need a sharp drill bit, and I'd suggest locating a drill press. I tried using a 1/2 corded drill and the drill started smoking before I got done with one hole...

I went to AutoZone today and bought the cheap'o shackles...only $12.99 + tax!! I don't know if i should put them on and do the TT yet or not. Right now my tires are 265/70/16's, verses the 255/70/16 stock size, but they 're street tires...Im afraid it will look retared will the 1.5''-2'' of lift and street tires. Should i wait until i get the new tires?

You can drill out the AZ shackles to fit your stock shackle bolts. If you drill a 5/8" hole, the bolts will slip right in. Personally, I didn't like the smaller bolts. I am now using grade 8 5/8" bolts and beefed up shackles.

The picture in the first page was a shackle lift only I believe. If you still don't get enough height, add a leaf from an F150 leaf pack.
