Who here runs HID headlights????

anybody have the wiring diagram for the ddm kit.there is a red, white and black wires. is the red the low beams wire or is the white?i know witch one it is on my truck side but want to make sure i have the right wire hooked up.if so i think they look way better on hi than on low the beam is more focused and on low its just every where.either way these thing are awesome!!!

edit: found the wiring diagram.low is the white and high is the red and black is the ground
this is for the wiring on the ddm kit and does not change no matter what you have, you have to know witch wire is what on the truck side to hook up to these wires

also should the white little wire be on top the bulb or under the bulb when its mounted in the housing?it can go in two ways?

these things are too bright good god!!they need to come down more but i have ran out of adjustment.i just ordered the 6pc diamond cut headlights,so i will be shimming them to aim lower.they are just so bright no matter where you stand or how you look at them they blind you.i think the 55watt may be over kill, but damn i love them.o and if you are looking for the 6pc set here is a link.http://www.procarparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=902_1645&products_id=30702

Usually the HI/LOW type HID kits are set up fior H4 bulbs. You have to change the wires in the headlight plug to make them to work on an H7 bulb. (There are usually instructions that come w/the lights)
Hi/Low are reversed on an H4 system. Plenty of info about the change on here.

huh my kit is for 9004 and 9007 system

Yea probably will be sick when I get them lowered a little but for now they are wayyyy to bright to others,GREAT for me tho!!

55 is not over kill at all

If you're using them in regular housing and not in a projector like real HID should be done, it's overkill

Its overkill I might try and send them back for the 35s!!they are just way to bright and not like on the road bright like blinding to look at from any direction bright.its like looking at the sun but not having to look right at it.I can't be getting pulled for no reason and these are a HUGE reason to get pulled!!

and have someone hit you head on! Get some projector headlights and the I don't see a problem

Not really just angle them differently I have moded 55 watters into 63 watts and I don't get **** and there alot brighter then the 55 and I don't have projectors on my 93

I'll trade u 2 35 watt ddm ballasts for more 55s lol I already own 6 different sets :)

I dont belive that i have them aimed 2ft in front of me and the square is so bright you cant stand them!!i cut the tabs off and shimmed them to get them super low and people still come to a complete stop and yell at me!!!

5 weeks there the full size not slim. The slim ones heat up way to fast

The second pic in post 63 is not because of the camera thats how they look in person from any angle!!

About to purchase DDM Tuning 35w 4500K HID's, and want to run a relay harness. I found this one on ebay, but it says only 1 of the bulbs needs to be plugged in, and the other can be left unplugged. Is that right, and is this a good relay? Thanks.

Last note: 4500K or 6000K?? I want white light, not crazy blue smurf light.

55w or 35w? How much more light output between them? Thanks guys.

i suggest buying ANY ddm tuning accessories through www.dabears2k.com

site looks sketchy, but i've always dealt with them (had a mazda prior to the ex, they're a forum sponsor over there). if you buy the kit from them, you get all the options and i believe it either comes with for FREE or the option for the relay harness is available, already made!

if you have any other questions let me know
