Unfortunally this Sunday is bad for me, due to the short notice. But I'll try to make other ones.

I’m getting so pissed off my eye’s are turning yellow! CarMax has had my truck for two and a half weeks!!!!!!

First the Master and Slave cylinders in the trans mission need replacing. They are on back order so I have to wait a week to get my truck fixed. All the while I’m driving a god forsaken Chevy cargo van! Then, after a week they tell me the slave cylinder they just replaced is defective! Then, after about 5 more days they tell me my clutch should be replaced. They say they will do it for the cost of the parts (about $190) and not charge me labor. I say fine. They say it will be ready tomorrow (last Thursday)! Thursday comes and they tell me they can’t seem to bleed my clutch! I’ll have to wait till Friday for my truck. I call them yesterday and say what the hells going on and they tell me they are still working on it and will defiantly have it for me by Saturday at noon. Well, at 12 O’clock on the button I’m at CarMax and now they say when they were working on my transmission they had to remove part of the exhaust and accidentally broke a part on the exhaust he calls a “doughnut”. What the hell is a doughnut? He says they are waiting on the part and should have it today!

17 days to fix a damn transmission? It’s under warrantee and I know they aren’t making a dime off of me but what the heck is going on here?

So to conclude the rant, I don’t know if I will have my truck today. So I was hoping we could reschedule our get together for a latter time?

I’m sorry to have started this thing and then be the one to back out but I’ll be damned if I’m showing up to an Explorer get together with a Chevy cargo van!

Let’s try for something early February!

Sorry about your ride Eric but looks like these guys have no clue what they're doing. I'm glad my truck is not giving me any trouble. (knock, knock) Like I sugested guys READ A FEW LAST POSTS!!!!!! February 10 or 11th is the date I'm shooting for. I have two confirmed plus me. SIGN ON!!!!!!!!!!

Cameron-Why did you goto CarMax if it is under warranty? My gf's mustang gt needed tranny work and Ford just replaced the entire tranny in one day and under warranty.

Well guess what? CarMax called me about 5 P.M. and said my truck is ready! So I went and picked it up. Cost about $245.00 to have a new slave and master cylinder and a new clutch installed. Thank god for extended warrantees. It would have cost me about $1,100 without the warrantee.

I was going through serious withdrawals here!

Anyway, it seems to run just fine. I can’t tell if the clutch is better because it’s been 17 days since I drove it last!

I’m on for Sunday, February 11th. Does anyone want to suggest a place or would you all like me to arrange it?

Because the warrantee is from CarMax!

Hey all...I'm in for the 10, 11, or 12th of Feb. It kinda depends on work, which I'll try and work in the morning or not at all....Not to mention, I've gotta make sure I do have a ride home....Scott...Thanks for the tires...I'm gonna clean her up cause she's not gonna see alot of road till that Feb weekend and I might as well get off all the salt possible....So, thanks fer makin the trip up...Hope those speakers work out and yes, today was a long ass day....at least for me. Been up for 22+hrs on 3-4 hrs sleep...Thank god this isn't a normal thing....

Yeah Hooters.. yeah i have to take credit for that idea. So does this get the new guy on the block brownie points Anyways HOOTERS has a good size parking lot from what i remember plus it is right by the mall wich has a huge lot and parking garage.

Hooters sounds good, I just went by the place today. We can even bring our "loved ones" and use that as a Valentines Day outing. Sheesh! That would be fun!
