Hey Splash,

I was planning on doing just about the same as you. Level 1 in the morning on Friday, Level 2 in the after noon and hopefully hook up with someone on Saturday to ride along on level 3+. I was planning on leaving Saturday night.

Commocozy gave me those light covers when he was over today. I think they look very cool but they block out too much light. I can’t see the road. I’m going to try and put brighter light bulbs in and see how they look then. I really like the looks of those covers but I got to be able to see the road.

Cam that sounds great, but is it possible to do two levels in the same day? I thought a run took most of the day. If not I would love to watch your tail pipe on Friday. I will proble hit the level two again on Sat then(the more practice the better). I stopped using the covers for the same reason. I called performance Products and they sugested getting the Super Super bright headlights(85low/100high) and they would work. If you can't use them that is ok. I can stick them back on the Sport or something. How did the CB go?

Cameron--Get some good fogs....I had my pick up w/black outs and bought some nice fogs and then I was set!

Thats a good idea, I have the factory driving lights on my Sport so it wasn't too bad, but the wife has a hard enough time driving at night and she hated to have to take them off all the time. If they don't work I can stick them on the XLT while I am off-road to protect the headlights. Or you could do the same.

Splash, the CB install went fine. It was a tad cool but we got it installed in about 90 min. 45 min. of which we spent shooting the bull. Commocozy needed to pick up longer bolts to mount his antenna on the stock rack but we got everything else done.

Commocozy, did you get your antenna on? Everything working as it should?

Coooold is right, I got a hair up my a** and swapped the Safari Bar off the Sport onto the XLT today. I also did something bad to my lights I had on it, because I can't get them to work now. Darn, looks like I am going to have to go get those KCs I saw on sale at Pep Boys.

Commocozy, did you get that antenna installed? Everything working okay?

Yeah stoped at Home Depot right by your house picked up some 4" skrews and wing nuts and it worked fine.. It is odd though it seems i can hear people but they can not hear me, or they just dont want to talk to me. I guess i will see how well it works this weekend.
