I know I would have to do major planning to make it fit, but I was just wondering if the 302 from a '87 Bronco would be able to fit into my engine compartment. The engine belongs to my friend who is planning to get a 352, i think, and offered his old one free of charge. I would want to rebuild it a little, but it otherwise runs good.

What do you guys think?

You would have to get a new intake, the truck manifold will be to tall to fit under the hood.

I have a 3" BL so the engine sits a little lower. Do you think it would be enough?

Other than that, would you see any other problems?

Would I need a swap kit or something?

Sorry, just found out today and have many questions.

You'll need a swap kit, yes. James Duff makes one, I think Advance Adapters does too, and Kaufmann makes a full kit if I recall correctly.

But Mike's right, the truck intake is too tall normally. I don't know if the 3" body lift would take care of that or not, though.
