hey bronchole... yeah it was just a rubber tube I found in my workshop and a rubber end plug from a water drain plug off a truck....

Did I read correctly that you had 33-12.50's with only a TT and Shackles? How much trimming was needed?
yes you are right! and honestly I did not do any trimming cos I fitted a wheel spacer 1.5" at same time just to make it stick out....

did few research and found this one not too bad... Mc quays-Norris ball joint
just worried about the gap but it seem okay for now...
just didn't like the rubber boot design, I like to be clipped and sealed but this one it only seats into the housing...
