Xtreme M/T(X/MT)-Procomp's Crossover

...i just got the new off-road adventures from 4wheelparts in the mail (jan, 08 issue)...besides the canfield '07 truck and jeepfest with tons of pics and with all the new goodies coming out, they have a pretty good article on their new pro comp Xtreme m/t (XM/T)crossover tire...for blacktop, sand, rock, and mud...

...they took this tire on a 12,000 mile trip including places like moab and san filipe in baja...if you are looking for info on this tire, it is pretty much all there including disection's of the tire and info on the sipping, compound, etc, with comparison to how it is so much better than the pro comp Xterrain's...

...heck no....but the ranger will be needing some new tires by summer and i love the bfg a/t's i have on it...but i am always looking into other option's....

I need new tires soon for sure. Those pro comps look nice, but im still not sure id ever put a set of procomp tires on my explorer..

He said he made it through there 3 times before he got stuck. Plus a truck with 44s blew it out before that pic.

im the guy with the ST with the Pro Comp Xtreme M/T's
i LOVE these tires, i plow through anything i have put it through so far
and the sidewalls are great for those leaning sideways ruts
ive impressed everyone ive mudded with and they say i shouldnt have gotten through stuff i have, i dont know if its the tires or just my bad ass sport trac haha
besides bigfoot on 44's ruttin it up for me ive loved them

These are similar to my Cooper STT's, I believe Cooper and ProComp are made by the same people. Both use the "Amor-Tek3 Carcass Construction". I've got 15k on mine, sill lots of tread left. They did great at 15 lbs. at Moab, that is when I wasn't broke

I didn't like the way mine performed/wore or looked. Not a fan of their tread patterns either.
