Hey all, I'm awaiting the arrival of my Warn manual hubs/conversion kit. Any clue as to how to obtain the wheel hub? Preferebly an aftermarket part? Also, can't seem to find anyone who will check out my RABS warning light, Ford turned me away having a Navajo!

Wheel hub? describe what you're talking about. Spindle perhaps? As far as ABS, that might be just faulty sensor. I had this happen in the front of my Explorer. Replaced sensor to fix the light. Does the ABS work at all?

Rear ABS

Could be a faulty sensor, could be a fuse. Your turn signals still work, right? cause they are on the same fuse. I don't even have my ABS hooked up in the rear anymore....i disconnected it when i did a SOA. check out the wireing around the rear diffy too. thats where it comes in. Look for any breaks, or signs of damage.

Good Luck!

Later,

Okay, Will the Warn replacement hubs, conversion kit attach to the five bolts on the rotor? I haven't taken anything apart yet until I get the hubs from Warn and I want to make sure I have everything I need. The spindle is fine. I've never replaced hubs before and the garage wants to charge about $300, I can't imagine with the tools and equipment they have it taking 3 hours. They also wanted to replace the ball joints, but after some research I found the problem to be wheel bearings. The ABS brakes do work, so I'll go ahead and replace the sensor, thanks. Also I cleaned the MAF to fix idle problem-saved another few hundred bucks!

OK then,,,, don't worry about the hub. It comes just the way that your auto hub is. It will just go on the studs with no problem. Conversion kit contains nuts and washer to to tighten the rotor and bearings. If you'll want to fix your wheel bearing problem just make sure that you replace seals as well and repack bearings, repack well and I'd say check after a while. I didn't change seals when I did my conversion and ended up putting new bearings after a few months. I'm talking about the seal that goes on the back of the rotor.

Good luck,
