Your Favorite Song to Bump?

After asking I have given it some thought and this should work.

Go into you receiver with phono and make sure the ground is attached...

Take the line out of your receiver and go into the line in on your sound card. (If I remember correctly there is a diff in voltage with phone versus line. So you do not want to go direct from phono to line in.. Could be wrong though...)

The next trick is to find a good recording/ripping software... I never got into napster or playing with mp3 crap. Any suggestions??

Thanks
hg

On top of my White Zombie and Metallica, I'm into pretty much any punk, BR, PW, UL, Guttermouth, Screeching Weasel, Queers, NOFX, Face to Face. And lately I've been getting into a lot of D&B, Jungle, and Trance. I love that song SoundStorm by DaRude that's in every club in San Diego lately!!!

Disturbed - Down with the Sickness, Stupify
Diana Krall - Popsicle Toes
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes

Bash me if you want, but i have had Vanilla Ice's new cd in my X since two weeks before it came out. Seriously, if you haven't heard it, go out and buy the thing. I'll even send you a few songs if you want. It's too phat!!!

I use Music Match Juke Box to do my basic recording, and then Cool Edit Pro to clean it up. Works pretty well

Madmatt, is that the one with the Ice Ice Baby remake?

JDraper,
EZ CD creator 5....burning and ripping ... its good... let me know if you need it... i have it, if you got broadband i can upload it to you.

After hooking it up through your comp you need to use a sound recorder such as cool edit pro. This will save them as wav files. That's the file type needed to burn audio cd's compatable for playing in car/home/portable stereos. If you want to turn them into mp3s you need a file coverter. Example: Audio Active Production Studio...I'm sure you can find another decent one from Tucows.com or Download.com.

Thanks, but I'm on dialup at home.. I think 2001ExpSport is the one who needs the software. He was the one asking how to record onto his PC/CD

Ya know, when I read the title to this thread, I thought that it was going to be about something else.
ROFLAO

Heavy Metal Rules!!!!!!!!!!

Metallica, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, and lately Supernatural CD by Santana. Boy, do I get the looks when I'm jamming Santana with the windows down and sunroof open.

Almost forgot Black Sabbath and Uriah Heap!

I also was hoping this thread was about the other thing. If that were the question my answer would be Rolling Stones, It's Only Rock and Roll. I'm partial to that one because it was playing during the first time.

if you want a lot of bass throughout the whole song:
Wobble Wobble. that song is the ultimate endurance test for a subwoofer.

What works good for me is
Ludacris- hoe, about 1:15 into the track the bass goes crazy
any of the three 6 cd's always have a few good bumpin songs. Playing "choices" cd now
Slipknot - left behind is also good, coming to Lax on the 30th

Anything from Nelly and the St. Lunatics.
Trick Daddy-Shut up
and the new DMX cd hits hard.

Anyone with collections of mp3s interested in doing cd-r trades? Any of you out there got VCDs or DVD rips? I got some to trade hit me up if you're interested :)

Sweet Emotion, Thunderstruck

I am just upset now. I can't belive noone has posted burbans and lacs by master p

I've heard alot of people say the Burbons and Lacs song is really great, but with the stock system and sub I dont like it, it makes the vibrating/buzzing sound. I'm sure with a better system than stock it would sound better though :D
