After asking I have given it some thought and this should work.
Go into you receiver with phono and make sure the ground is attached...
Take the line out of your receiver and go into the line in on your sound card. (If I remember correctly there is a diff in voltage with phone versus line. So you do not want to go direct from phono to line in.. Could be wrong though...)
The next trick is to find a good recording/ripping software... I never got into napster or playing with mp3 crap. Any suggestions??
