It doesn't block air intake to anything and I didn't adaptive cruise control or collision warning so no sensors to block. The guard on the bottom has vents to enable air to continue to flow into the vehicle.
People definitely have been moving over quicker now. ;-)

Check out the following link to see how another member, tropicvi, made out with his front bar when he lost his steering;

Maybe it's the camera angle, but that bar looks like it's blocking almost half the radiator/intercooler opening down low, pretty much the entire rear turbo scoop down low, and almost 1/2 of the upper opening for the radiator. Since a good bit of the "grill" is actually sealed openings are pretty important!

The passenger side bar coming up appears to be directly in front of the turbo cooler intake. The intake was designed as a ram air intake, so while you haven't 100% blocked it but you have impacted the way it functions.
The mod looks great, but I think people just wanted to make you aware of potential impacts.

Pretty cool, I'll be looking for you in town.

Time for NoVA get together soon! I think we just need someone with a White Sport and we have it all covered.

does have a bit more of a police interceptor look to it, but not a big fan for the "sport" look of it. And it may not completely block the airflow, but it's definitely impeding the path it to the rear turbo scoop and the intercooler.

Im down, I want to check out this tune.

Looks good. Don't pay too much attention, if you like it that's all that matters.

Every one is entitled to their opinion. I certainly have plenty about cars that I see. They have valid concerns about it possibly blocking access to the air vents. Not something that anyone that I know of has had an issue with but certainly something that Ill keep an eye on when I'm running and gunning!

Bottom line is that I love how it looks. Certainly makes it look as aggressive as it really is.

We definitely need to do a NOVA or DMV meet up though. A parking lot full of Sports would be bad awesome!

Bull Bar for 2014 Explorer sport

Does anyone have any pics of the bottom of the front bumper? does it have to be cut or removed? Any drilling?

Thanks

As Indicated in my PM, I have merged your thread with this one so you can see what one looks like. If you don't get an answer to your question, perhaps you should sent the member a private message. Good luck.

One of you with the push bar, could you please measure the distance between the two vertical bars... Curious to know how much space there is for mounting lights .

I'm curious if the installation of these 'push bars' interferes with the Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning System since part of the bar seems to partially block part of the radar sensing unit.

I would be willing to bet this interferes with the adaptive cruise control, even the slightest intrusion to that system would be enough to render it inoperable.

I am hoping that someone can tell me how and where the push bar bolts on. I am thinking that since I have a RV tow bar connected there is no way I could also attach this.

Behind the plastic cover for the front end, is a structural steel rectangular section tube as the main bumper. The Setina push bar uses a D shaped clamp for the top and bottom mounts on each side. This allows it to be a push bar (it is designed for police issue). With the extra side wrap, it allows Pitt maneuvers without vehicle damage. The push bar is not heavy, being made of marine grade structural aluminium. Distance between uprights is 33" and will accept a 180w 32" LED light bar. I have added round flame throwers to the lower bracket, which places the lens behind the bar, protecting it from damage. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/picture.php?pictureid=7323&albumid=587&dl=1395917863&thumb=1
