Dissed by U-Haul!

Tried to reserve a trailer from the U-Haul website. It said there was no match to a trailer my vehicle could pull. My 5.0 explorer regularly pulls a 5000 lb. horse trailer. I went to the local U-Haul place to see what the problem was. They said they won't rent out a trailer to be pulled by an explorer because of too many lawsuits by explorer owners! I left feeling discriminated against. Anyone else try to rent a trailer from them? I went back to the website and tried listing a Mountanier. They said no problem!

Not poking fun, but...

Why did you go back? Are they the only company in town? They just don't rent to us... On occasion, some will - don't know how. I take it you really didn't know about this... This has been ongoing for like 15 years.

IMO U-haul did you a favor by not renting you a trailer. They do not service any of their crap.
