Can the Borla exhaust 14059 (which is for the 2016-2017) be installed on the 2019 explorer? The borla listed for the 2019 had duel tips each side, which I hate and is 50% more expensive.

The 140659 (2016-2017)you can get for $800-900
The140765BC (2018-2019) duel tips is $1,350

The pictures look the same except for the tips, but hangers look the same.

Thanks,
Dan

Welcome to the Forum Dan.
I'm not aware of anyone installing a Borla exhaust on a 2019 yet.

Search forum for exhaust tips... I sold some 2016's for a 2015, and they didnt fit 100%, but there are a few photos of the differences there, you might see some info you can use to compare the 2019's.

Thanks for the info on not quite fitting 100%. I called Borla and they said also Ford likes to make small changes to hangers ect, so things might be a little off.

If going to spend $1350, might just as well get the Livernois, as it is an actual 2.5 inch (which is larger than Borla), no cutting (which is nice). I would assume with larger size/less restriction also have more HP gain, Livernois says 10-15hp

How does everyone who has the Livernois exhaust like it?

I just bought a used 140659 (16/17) for $250 on eBay (!!!) and will be trying to get it to fit on my '18 Sport. Fingers crossed, but it should work!

I put on the Livernois Corsa exhaust on my 2016 Explorer Sport, and my daughter put one on her 2016 Explorer Platinum. We love the subtle sound, and nice idle chracteristics. If you are after LOUD, it is NOT your system. If you are after a factory GT version then yes!!! (dont have any videos to share, but we love it. Also, this year we just both added aftermarket tunes (just cause we could). Nice investment also.

See my thread about 140659 install on a 2018.
