OK so I'm going to be picking up some Parnelli Jones tires for the ex next week. Probably. My concern is this: If I want more ground clearance basically I have to run a tire with a taller sidewall right? Now I'm running 16" rims, so I know I lose a half inch right there. I will have to live with it because my rims just look too damn sweet. But anyway, I have 265 70 r16's on there now, and the Parnelli's I'm looking at are 295 75 r16's. Does this mean that I'm only gaining 5mm of clearance?? Am I completely retarded here in my understanding of sizing??

the new tires will be approx 33.4" tall, so from your original 30.6" tires you'll gain about 1.5" of clearance.
