I should be out there on Friday before 4pm. If it all works out, which it never does. Sarah gets out of school at noon, so its a few hours after that we will be wheelin' :D

Ok I'm signing up for the thread otherwise Brian will get angry at me!

I'm working on a flag pole using my trailer as a base.

I will be topping it with a white boat light that claims to be seen up to 2 miles away. Power will be supplied by a spare battery I have. I plan to be able to flash this light (and that is easy to do).

Now to find some orange filter sheets and change the color.

You know you want to come, just admit it. :D

You would figure if he's signing up, he's coming.

But we all know that Northern California Explorer's don't wheel..

I'm looking to be there about noon Friday, and spent the afternoon in the Vendor display and watching the build up of the tinbender's raffle truck.

One problem - they are going to close down all the sites along the paved road last I heard. This could make the rest of the area fill up QUICK.

Try to keep up Bill! :p

Like brother like brother, lets not have a repeat of this out there:

Just to see your smiling face Brian! :D

I do want to make it but with the just getting back from the Virgin Islands, to the Colorado run and the Moab run coming up I'm just trying to figure out how to keep my job and afford everything. Plus I still have the Zuk I'm working on Tom. *hint hint* ;)

I've been doing some research on my route to Truckhaven.

I210 used to drop down to I10, but now that short stretch has been renamed Route 57. Route 210 now extends to I15, and almost to I215 from the looks of it. There is a short loop called Route 30 that drops down to I10 in Redlands.

My question is - there is a short section between I15 and I215 that is not freeway yet. Anyone drive it lately? This route appears to avoid a lot of the commuter crush on I10.

Tom..

the freeway ends about six miles beyond the 15 then it is surface streets till right before the 215. It moves pretty quick and you can see where there going to put the freeway, but I don't think it will be done for awile. If your coming through during a traffic time then try it. (I go that way to Big Bear) otherwise stick to 210 to the 15 to the 10 like Jefe and I do.

Oh...yeah I will not make it out guys :( Have fun!
