Took some time off from working on the truck and to help with Kevin's truck. But finnally decided to do some work on the truck today. Got the trans cooler mocked up and got most of the B&M Megashifter installed. Still need to wire it up and trim the cover to fit.

Finnally got some real work done this weekend. Got the 4wd x-members fab'd onto the existing 2wd x-member. Got both beams hung. And she's finnally sitting back on all four wheels!

Still have a lot of little things to do. Such as alignment, install the trans and x-case (it'll be here on Tuesday), and air compressor. There's probably more to do be thats the short list.

Now it's time for the nickel and dime stuff. Speedometer pigtail, manual hubs, driveshafts, exhaust, and alignment. These are all the things you forget about until the end and than realize you have to wait until the bank account builds back up

Sorry for the long delay in updating this thread. Been busy with the holidays and having surgery to fix a broken thumb and ligament.

But we had to install a 2" body lift to get the engine, trans and transfer case to line up right and to give enough drive train clearance. Also got my new tires in yesterday. Still need to order new rims for them, along with a bunch of other little things.

They have red and blue label krawlers. Red is softer/stickier than blue.

If I remember right, the blue labels are molded and the red labels are grooveable. According to the BFG website both are made of the same X-tra traction tread compound.

On a side note BFG just released DOT approved Krawlers in 39/13.50R17s!

well going from 2wd to 4wd with ttb has got to be a real PITA !!! im converting mine to 4wd with a waggy d44 and leaves in the front but since everyone around here is goin with coils its got me thinkin...

Using coils is actually a little easier to do, at least I think so. Your using the exhisting radius arm mounts or aftermarket ones that will ensure proper axle placement and alignment. As far as the coil buckets, they are easier to line up and bolt in rather than front spring hangers. On the cheap, and even easier, you can also use you stock coil buckets.
