Nice. You need to come out to truckhaven with us this winter with us from here. I thinkyou would fit in well :D

Thanks for posting the rest of the pictures, I hope everyone enjoys them, I can't wait to go back!!

I did it with an IFS also, but I can confirm that if you have a second gen Explorer and want to survive it with most of your bodywork intact, you'd better have 35" tires, lockers front and rear, and rocksliders.

Even after having to travel a 5,000+ mile roundtrip all the way from South Carolina just to wheel only a 21 mile trail, it was worth it - that trip left a lifetime's worth of memories and was probably the most fun I ever had fourwheeling. It inspired me to write and article on it here after we finished. Here it is if you want to spend time reading it.

PS - Great photos. Are there more?

I think your are right about the 35" tire's I did it on 33" and will try and fit 35's without going to a 3" body lift. I know this will take some cutting and triming but would have made the trip a bit smoother. I did manage to escape any major body damage. Can't say the same for the under carrage.Yes I do have more picture's that maybe I can get up,
