I think it would look lower without the roof rack. There is a way to install a strip there to cover mounting posts.

Well, I have to have some type of deflector. There was one on it before I got the X and the hood got all scratched up from the first one.

I agree that it's too big, I'm thinking about getting the shorter/slimmer one and seeing if that helps.


I removed the roof rack a few weeks ago and just... well... couldn't tell if I liked it or not so I put it back on. I havn't made up my mind yet.


Also, I was thinking of putting on some type of spoiler. I have both the windjammer and the blade air deflector. I don't know if I like either of those, or maybe get the EE one and get it painted.

Any thoughts on that?

i have one suggestion too.. pretty cheap also... get 3157 silverstar turn signal bulbs... they are blue-ish green when not lit and turn orange when lit

looks just as orange as any other bulb... they cost about 11 bux at like an autozone or something and they look awesome with clear corners.. im hoping to get some clear corners.. where did u get urs?

I got my clear corners from ebay, don't remember who... They were cheap

I'm going to be putting LED's all around, so the orange tint from the stock bulb will go away 100%.

did your side moldings come like that with the high gloss or did you do that, cause mine look all dull and somewhat faded and id like to make them like yours look...

They've always been like that.

I like to wash, use clay bar, and then meguires 3 step wax... every 6-12 months or so. It's a PITA, but helps in the long run.

Go with the Lincoln Aviator wind deflector "wing".
