Sounds like your picking up a locker on a great deal. SWEET! :D
Sweet deal indeed. I was looking for a used locker thinking a new set of $20 springs installed in it would work. But had no such luck in finding one used. My4by came through once again for me.

Stay tuned for version 2.0! (or is it 5.0?)

I got me some bigger vinyl stickers for the switch ID on the ashtray lid installed. Thanks to Mr. Lee.

Bloody wicked, love the switch ID and would not like to be tapped by your truck's bar. Goddamn awesome.

Was surfing You Tube about video for installation of the locker and found this guy who installed an Aussie in his D30. Funny thing is he used the directions found on here! LOL...Yay EF!

Front locker arrived today Woot! Hope to start tearing it down and slapping it in there next week! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

Side note....Hope the thrust washers are the right size I need or I'm going to have to hunt some down. Fingers crossed !! :)

Top o the Morn Laddie! Should I die the gear fluid green tomorrow? LOL!

Well, since I'm doing this outside, I figured I would install the locker tomorrow. I hate rushing things, and this is the 1st time for me doing this. I got the intermediate shaft out of the CAD, the carrier and ring gear out, everything all cleaned up and prepped for install. Left & right caps / bearings are punch stamped for location I.D.

I found one of my shims that was installed from the re-gear kinda messed up. It was bent up on an edge. Probably from pushing the carrier back in. :dunno:

I have to find the torq specs for the ring gear (I think 80#), and the caps somewhere. Anybody got a link or know off hand?

Found this on TRS.

I taught you how to pull yours, that has to count for something doesn't it?:D

And I thank you for the knowledge kind sir. ;)

I will help others near me and pay it forward. If you were just a bit closer, I would surely be there to help out, you know that. I have a feeling as many times as you have dropped one, you can do it blindfolded by now.
