Time to replace the rear upper control arms... One boot is torn, the other ball joint is squeaking like a mouse. $800 in parts...

Any thoughts for other things I should do?

Nice choice! I'll have to add them to my collection haha. What make/model, link?

Those are made by Rev Wheels and they are the KO series. The name for em is Anaconda;
There are 3 different types available.
840 - Matte Black
840C - Chrome
840MB- Machine Polish & Black

Theyre fairly difficult to find online (with the right lug pattern and offset). If you want to look at Rev's site, its rev-wheel.com and go to the off road section.
Discount tire can order em, tire factory can, etc. The wheels are all "blanks" so the lug pattern gets drilled after they're ordered.
I paid $155/wheel.

I'm flattered kyle, lol

My next new set of rims will be from Rev... great find Nate!

Well I just got a call from discount tire and Rev wont drill the wheels because my truck is lifted and they say it will rub. How they figured out its lifted is beyond my knowledge... Now I need to find a new set to buy...

1. That's odd as ****
2. What about finding a shop that can drill them for you? Or will they not send them w/o being drilled.

I gave up on Rev wheels. Every style I wanted, they didn't have. :thumbdwn: I decided to go with American Outlaw Wheels.

I approve...will be nice to see someone with aftermarket rims that aren't primarily black

ehh, theyre okay. personally i liked the rev ones better. and heres an idea, give the money for the rims to your gf or parents, have them order the rims and say they are for your stock, unlifted, 98 XLT

The Rev ones are nice, but I dont want to go through 10,000 different things for rims. I don't like all black rims, so I want something with a fair amount of polished area.

They look better in person. I didn't like em too much until I saw the pics of Airplane Mech's 4th gen.

Did my valve cover gaskets today... Nice and clean upper end. Previous owner and current owner did/does regular oil changes. :D
