These photos came to me from oso_polar. This is his friends truck whose name is Chola on the board. They live down in Argentina.

Great job guys! Nice to see a late model come this far.

That is one Sweet Explorer. It is not too high either.

Well damn. There it is. Sweet setup.

Hey!!

Thats not my truck, that X is from a friend of mine, his user name here is Chola, my X still doesn't have tires, but I'll following this steps...someday...

Thanks Rick for posting the pics, I will become a member and post some other and better pics later.

As I said in other thread here, he used jeep wagoneer axles (82's) 4.10, toyota's springs and shakles in front and the rear stay with ford springs, good year mt 35, Bronco steering box, and a lot of money in two months, about 1500$ more, but in my opinion if we could go with this mod, instead of spending money in trailmaster driveshaft, it will be a lot better!!

So, the beast is not finished yet, some minor mods are needed... I will talk with him, maybe later he will be around here...

also, i noticed the cool snorkel.... how was that possible?

Very nice!

I'd like to see a close-up of the springs if possible.

Although it is lifted up pretty high.

Phenomenal rig! That must have cost a lot or taken a lot of time!

Although a little off-topic, I noticed in some of the photos many many little circles of light... I'm not saying I believe this, but I know paranormal researchers say those are spirits of the dead. Like, photographs of Gettysburg at night often show those... just a little tidbit for you all :)

You also get that when its snowing outside or the lens is dirty or wet

cool! leaf springs...... how much lift?

Great lookin Exploder. I like the axle and leafs. Totally diff from what has been done to the 91-94's. Great job.

Awesome!

I thought that because the frame is straight, and doesn't give room for the suspension to travel, a SAS wasn't an option. Or is his lift that big? It doesn't look that big. I wonder if he has hit the axle on the frame.

Looks good, though.

Because it's a solid axle you don't need that much lift. You can do everything you really need to do with a few inches and the rest is handled by bumpstops and leverage.
