I've read where the 02's need to program a security module if a different one is installed, and I've read where some folks have said they don't need to be, do we have a definitive answer on that? Also are those modules subject to the "If your vehicle was made before May 15th" issue? There are several things on those made before May 15th that use a different part than those after that date.
Pretty sure I need another module as there are no broken wires, still says door ajar, wont autolock, occasionally wont unlock the passenger front door when unlocking all doors, the parking lights dont flash when locking and very rarely the glass liftgate will pop open for no reason.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
