So I'm really ignorant when it comes to vehicles, truly. So please understand that before I ask stupid questions! I can do the basics like change my oil etc but am lost when it comes to anything advanced.
So basically my reverse went out about a month ago. I've got about 150k miles on it, and there was absolutely zero warning.
From what I understand, I'm basically expecting a transmission rebuild for 2-3k. I just want to know if anyone could possibly give me some advice on how I can't inspect the issue myself before I go to someone who wants my $$. $Money$ I don't have. It drives just fine in every gear, it's just the reverse! I'm a student right now and can barely afford rent let alone paying for a car inspection.
Thanks for any advice, guys!
