08 Ford Explorer 5r55s transmission part? Need Help.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forums and first time owner of a explorer. I just recently bought one with a bad transmission. When I tore it down for the rebuild I noticed there was a rod broken underneath the reverse servo it holds the reverse band strut in place. I can't find this rod anywhere does anyone know where I can find this part? I don't want to buy another transmission just for this one part. I really appreciate it guys thank you for your time!

It was really hard to find this part I ended up finding it on eBay. A user was selling just the lower reverse band lever so I messaged them about the rod and luckily they had one. When I went to install the new part I noticed we're the old one was installed it ended up breaking the case. In the end I bought a used transmission and junked the old one.

I did some searching on eBay for you and I found a user who's selling a lot of misc parts for that transmission. Here's the link so you can check it out the rod is mixed in with all the bolts.

Nope, I saw it was broke in two so that's when I decided to find a new one. I should've inspected the inside and outside of that hole before buying a new one. That's when I knew the case was bad.
I definitely wouldn't reuse the case if it has a crack in that spot. It's just going to come back to haunt you later.

I have no crack in the case at all. Only that shaft broke. It baffles me as to how it even broke because it's not really a moving part. It's a stationary shaft that holds the lever and allows the lever to pivot. I wonder if it broke because the pump went and fluid wasn't able to transfer through the system meaning it wasn't lubed for the lever.
