I got this ranger for $200 with the tranny out of it and the tranfer case in the front floor of the cab. lol.
So after looking around i see that the A4ld is the tranny that gose in the ranger.
At the same time i have been reading all the stuff about how the A4ld has many issues.
what i want to know is there any thing i should know before i go looking for an a4ld.
Is there any other tranny that will fit that has fewer issues.
Also Are are a4ld's the same as in will thay all fit the 1986 ranger 4x4 2.9L v6.
