Well, a friend and I are on the home stretch of this swap--

In a nutshell, we swapped a 14 bolt semi float rear axle, and also canged the gears to 456

The speedometer is not happy. What is the best way to calibrate a 1993 full size blazer speedometer please?

There is a speed sensor in the transfer case. is there a gear to change?

Would it be best to get an electronic type calibrator?

It's probably using the wheel speed sensors for the speedo, if not, and using a VSS in the tail housing of the transfer case, you will need either a calibrator unit, sold after market or you'll have to have a chip/program made.

Its VSS system it will need a chip... there is no drive gear to change out. You can also get the "speedometer only" type piggybacks like in the link bellow.
