I got mine from Summit, good price and great service arrived to Michigan in 2 days.

Thanks toad,

I hear you have to drop the gas tank for the explorers.
What are some of the other PITA's with the explorer lifts.

I put one on my 4 runner and it only took like 4 hours.

Thanks

Ryan

Summit Racing is good.

Give me the part number you were quoted on from 4 Wheel Parts and I'll get you a price too.

What brand of body lift are you buying? If you are buying the Performance Accessories Body Lift, there really isn't anything the is a PITA, EXCEPT the $%#@%^$ bumper relocation brackets. Bluntly put, they wont work.

drop the gas tank for the explorers?

You do not need to drop the gas tank when doing the performace accesories body lift. I just followed the write-up in the tips section at the top. It took about 4hrs to do by myself and for the first time.

Good luck:)

First off what do you do with the bumpers then? Have to fab up your own relocation brakcets or what?

Second I couldn't find that lift on Summits Website for the explorers 91-94 Explorer....

EDIT: Never mind im retarted I found it :)

Sure go to Champs sports in the mall, buy 20 hockey pucks and drill a hole in em! When is this project going on. Want to do your lift Sunday Monday??????? I think I'm free.

Like Pekingman said the brackets are for a 3 inch ,I made new ones but you can make them work. any way the two write ups mentioned are what I used.
One tip I think might be in there , if its rusty cut off the bolts with a grinder less to back out then. Good luck

Dan are you talking about my Jacker lift of body lift

I,m all for doing the jacker lift on sunday

Ryan

I work saturday night but I am trying to get off work cause I have a couple buddies in town. But we would still be able to get at it sunday no problem into monday.
My only concerns/ tool issues are
Pitman arm puller
I suck at brake lines
welder( I don't have one or know how to use one)
alaignment
