engine light warning stays on. After checking computer, 2 codes appear as trouble area. Codes are P 0112 and P 1112. These codes have nothing to do with an Explorer. They are for diesel Ford pick-ups. Any ideas?
This vehicle was made in USA and sold in Canada. We discovered while looking for this problem that some of the sensors with the wiring harness are for a 4.0l engine not 5.0l engine. Not related to the code problem but an observation.

I'm not sure where you got your information but my Chilton's manual is showing P1112= IAT or ECT intermittent fault.

Hmm,
On yout vehicle the IAT sensor is located in the MAF sensor-

I wonder if it would help to clean the MAF sensor. There is a how to thread here for this

You may need to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to clear the fault code memory.

Not in the MAF but upstream from it going into the duct work. It's small. The engine coolant temperature sensor is on the front of the lower intake manifold. A good scanner should be able to give you live data on the temperatures of both. The intake temperature is usually a little warmer than the outside temp. The engine temp should be below 210. You can check the sensors with a meter.

Is there enough coolant in the radiator?
