2009 Explorer XLT, 120,000 miles. Abs module is shot. I ordered a pre-programmed (to my vin) refurbished replacement, but I know very little about cars. Parts place said it's an easy swap, shouldn't take more than 30 mins, but I know just about nothing about this.

I found half a dozen youtube videos that I think might help. Does anyone have a specific link to something I can print or watch?

Many thanks in advance

I do t have any helpful pics of videos
But I recently did this on a jeep

Pull neg ba literally removed the wiring harness
Undid the bolt in the middle
Pulled the old module off
Pressed the new module on
Re did the bolt
Installed the wiring
Done

You got this

Don’t you have to bleed the brakes and the abs?

In the jeep the module was separate from the pump so I didn’t have to bleed anything… just replaced the electric side of things

I am also not afraid to bleed brakes I do it all the time. With abs pumps your scanner / forscan will activate the pump for bleeding purposes if you get any trapped air in it
