2011 Explorer XLT

Hello all,

I hope everyone is well.

My Explorer has 152K on it. The only issue I've had until now is my front brakes. They make a funny noise when I'm going slow, can hear them and not pressing the brake pedal. The Ford dealer was unable to fix em (replaced pads and rotors).

Now my APIM has went out. The module has a price tag of $698 from the dealer. $1000 total to repair it. I have looked on you tube and it looks very easy to replace.

I have checked a couple of junk yards but neither one have an explorer that new.

Does anyone have any idea of where to get a module without getting it from Ford?

I see they are available on Ebay - 2011 ford explorer apim | eBay but I don't have any experience with them.
