2012 Mustang Rims on 4th Gen. Done!

I haven't noticed any mileage change

I pulled out the Tire pressure Sensor out today of the old wheels

Hi-Lift to brake the beads, and just poped them out:thumbsup:

Pooped them out? Eww. :D

I haven't looked into it yet, but I wonder if being 4x4 makes a difference for the front wheel center bore?

There are a few nice sets of 20s on craigslist that say they are for Mustangs... Obviously the lug pattern is right, a couple of the sets have the right offset, but I'm curious about the center hole. Any idea Steve?

Wrong steve, but im on my second set of mustang rims. Center bore is exactly the right size for a third gen(im gonna guess that the 4th gen hub bore is also 70.3mm). But both sets were oem though

I would say your good. I don't think center bore is different in 4x4 unless you go back to a first gen.

I ran 18x8.5 '09 Mustang GT wheels on my '08 AWD for winters. Hub bore was a perfect fit.

255/60/18 Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow. There's almost no clearance on the inside, but it doesn't touch or rub anything.

Man, that Explorer looks better than new. :D

Everything in that driveway looks pristine!

On topic I like the mustang wheels too. The truck definitely looks lowered with the larger gaps and shorter tires.

Well this wasn't helpful today:mad: Not even sure how and where it happened.

Ouch. That doesn't look good.

I have an 07 explorer what factory 18" rims would fit without having to run spacers or adapters like what year mustang, flex, taures, wheels would fit??

from what I have gathered its just mustang and edge but i dont know the year gaps... 5th gen ex's need machine work and flex should be the same and taurus is probably same but with bad wheel offset

I would kill for some circa 2012ish edge 22" rims
