Gen 3 wheels on a gen 2 need spacers unless you want small street tires that rub the sway bar.
Mine came with gen 3 wheels and I tried to go bigger to find out they wouldn't fit without spacers. So I got some 15x10 jeep wheels off fb marketplace (with the 3rd gen hubcaps on, they attach to the lugs). Now I got one of the gen 3 wheels in the spare spot with a 245/75r16 tire, but it will only bolt up to the rear as is (not enough backspacing). Maybe some 2" spacers and nice 245/75r16 ATS in the future, so I can have 2 sets of rims.
