Gen 3 wheels on a gen 2 need spacers unless you want small street tires that rub the sway bar.

Mine came with gen 3 wheels and I tried to go bigger to find out they wouldn't fit without spacers. So I got some 15x10 jeep wheels off fb marketplace (with the 3rd gen hubcaps on, they attach to the lugs). Now I got one of the gen 3 wheels in the spare spot with a 245/75r16 tire, but it will only bolt up to the rear as is (not enough backspacing). Maybe some 2" spacers and nice 245/75r16 ATS in the future, so I can have 2 sets of rims.

iirc the St rims are different offset, but will fit. may need spacers to improve fitment though, iirc the 3rd gens had less negative offset than the 2nd gens, so spacer may be needed
