35's w/6"lift ?

My Anne's Explorer listed below with specs, will be getting my 35" BFG mudders that i took off my Bronco. Will Bushwacker cut-outs be enough with trimming on the fenders for her to wheel with? I want to go the cheapest way possible yet functional. 8" wheel but what offset will work best? Yes, We do have a sawzall. I hope this will work. :hammer:

An 8" wheel witll be perfect and you want a back spacing of about 3.75 - 3.50" Yes the bushwackers will be enough. With 6" lift you don't need the bushwackers if you want to save that money. Paul Bredehoft had the exact setup. 6" lift with 35s. If you're not affraid to you that sawzall you have then go for it.

I wasn't since I have a 4" lift with 35s and for everyone that is going to comment of that, I had the 35s before I got the fiberglass fenders so...:p

Good luck Steve, go for it! :D

Thanks for the reply.
Do you guys think that the body will be OK other than the rear of the front fenders. I'm concerned about tagging the rear inside wheel well's. I really can't sawzall there. Does anyone have that concern or problem? Please let me know now Anne is already wheelin' out the 35's to size them up.

I put the 35's on today! I'm retorqueing the suspension tomorrow, It hasn't been done since we installed it 7 months ago! too many runs and feels like it now! Thanks Colin & Paul for the go ahead advise! I know a straight axle is lurking down the road.

Way to go Steve! Now your a member of the 35 club. So let's see some pictures!:D

This is Steve's Gal here, I just want to say he has done a GREAT job cutting out the fenders on my 94" Explorer, thanks for all the help and suggestions!
I do not yet have pictures with the 35's, since we are going wheeling Saturday to try them out, but you can check out other pictures of my 94' Explorer at: (check back often, I put up new pic's frequently.
