4.0 ohv to 302 conversion

Hey everyone Im new to this forum I have a 97 Explorer Sport 4.0 ohv 55r5 trans 2wd, limited slip rear end. 241 k miles on factory engine and trans. Ok to the fun stuff, since my explorer has alot of miles and should be coming due for a trans, I figured since the xlt model came with a 302 it shouldnt be hard. I plan on getting a 302 and a 5 speed, running a carb to bypass a new wiring harness and all that electrical mumbo jumbo that so easily can mess up. Other than cross member, motor mounts, radiator ect, how much trouble will this be to get her in and running?

think it will be any simpler just going carbed??? Kinda thinking a hei distributor if i can find one.
