5.13s and 33s

how bad would it be running 5.13 gears with 33x12.5 tires on a 1994 ford explorer? I have plans for 38s eventually but that won't be till like 2 years after the gear swap.

yes but I'm not worried about gas mileage and hardly ever have it above 60

Its more of a weekend cruiser

Well that will be about top speed in od ~ 3k RPMs with that set-up. If you're fine with that for two years, then there is no problem.

haha yeah I'm wondering if I'll burn through my tires or the tranny first.

The tranny won't be doing much, so I'd think it would help it if anything. Of course, you'll be in OD all the time.

But yea, you'll be snapping necks off if you're not easy on the gas
