Has anyone swapped a 5.0 into a 93 explorer sport??

Will a 5.0 V8 (say out of a 95 or 97) fit into a 93 sport? What challenges/problems can I expect? Can I still use my old 5 speed? Any advice you have to offer will be greatly accepted.

well I put one into my BII back in 2005
My 88 BII was much like a 93 sport when I did the conversion to the 5.0 drivetrain and obd2 computer.
I already had a 93 4.0L engine, 93 power distribution and under hood wiring, an a4ld automatic in there with a dana 35 ttb and a disc brake 8.8
So my conversion is basically exactly the same thing except its a BII so my rear driveshaft and exhaust would be slightly shorter
