I have a 94 with a new engine that's giving me some problems. Its stalled out a few times while stopped, and it occasionally takes a while before it actually accelerates. Today I had to pump the pedal around 10-15 times before it started moving. The pedal depresses normally, but it doesn't seem as if the engine is getting any gas. The owner before me didn't take good care of it, so I'm not sure if it would be the auto-trans or the cat converter, or something else entirely.

If it helps: I get no acceleration in Drive, I have to go into Overdrive(?) to get anywhere. The engine light has been on since I got it, so I'm thinking its gotta be something else.

Any help would be awesome, Thanks.

sounds like you have a pretty serious vacuum leak

I'm taking it to Autozone tomorrow to get the code read. Will post back with any new info. Hopefully its nothing too bad. >.<

Turns out it was the Mass Air flow sensor.
Gonna try to get that taken care of tonight.
