94' Wheels for 31's

I am going ot put some new 31x10.5x15 (Kelly Safari TSR) on my 94 2dr 4x4. One of the previous owners had changed the wheels on the Ex and filed the aluminum bor out ont he front wheel so they fit over the locking hubs. But not the rear.. so you can't rotate your wheels.

So.. I want to pickup a set of steel rims and just put the new rubber on them.

Since I don't have original wheels to measure from, what offset and backspacing would I need for a 15x8? How about 15x7?

Stock backspacing is 4.5

If you're going to stick with 31s or even 32s as the biggest, I would get a 7" wheel with 4" backspacing. If you plan to eventually go to a 33 or bigger I would get an 8" wheel with 3.75" backspacing.

No look on the lifts and max tire sizes thread.

Biggest is 31x10.5R15 without fender trimming.

(i'm new to tire sizes, backspacing, offsets, etc)
