Hi all,
Replaced alternator for a charging problem and also re-seated all the fuses/relays in the power distribution box under the hood (I lightly filed all the contacts so they are nice and shiny and shot a little bit of radio tuner fluid into the sockets just to help out because I have about 200K miles on my 97 5L AWD XLT.
Weird. The seat belt light won't go off (we always wear our seat belts). After searching the forum, I disconnected at the driver's seat belt on the connector on the floor on the driver's side but not the connector running up into the middle of the seat. Start the engine, close the door, put on my seat belt and the light still stays on. ??? I couldn't find a similar connector on the passenger side so I'm not sure what is happening.
