99 Sport Custom Exhaust question

I now realize that I cannot purchase a cat back kit for my 99 sport SOHC...so is it possible to purchase a Gibson kit for a 2 door OHC but substitue a dual inlet flowmaster and use the piping that comes with the kit? I really want to do this myself because I hate paying someone to do the work for me. Also, what is the loudest flowmaster?

The loudest Flowies for our application are one of the 40 series mufflers. They do NOT come in dual inlet. You'll need a Y-Pipe for the installation (many people have done it before.

Not sure about your other questions. Not sure why a retailer would tear apart an inclusive kit and replace the muffler, but it can't hurt to ask.

I wouldn't need the retailer to pull apart the kit...I'd just buy the whole thing and just not use the muffler.

Nope......just buy your muffler, get yourself down to a competent exhaust shop and have them bend up some tube and install your Flowmaster. Shouldnt be more then $300....
