Am I the only one who does this?

I am a very aggressive driver with little to no patience for people who do not know how to drive, but I find myself being extra courteous to fellow 3rd gen owners. Does anyone else do this, or am i just a psycho

I would be courteous to other first gens, but most of the people driving explorers really don't have the brotherhood everyone here does. Unfortunately, there is no explorer "thing"

I'm less courteous to 1st gens and 2nd gens only because most of the ppl who drive them on Long Island are dumb teenies who REALLY shouldn't be driving a smart car, let alone an SUV. Although I do try to be nice to 2nd gen V8 owners; usually if you opt for the V8 you have a reason to need the power and you drive a lot better.

Yeah.... I get bad road rage, especially the commute home. I'm half italian, so my arms are forever going up in the air due to stupid people in front of me, I've learned how to honk the horn while i use the steering wheel controls to adjust the volume, and I often smash my head against my head rest while clenching my teeth in between cursing....it's really bad

I would acknowledge other 3rd gens if they weren't driven by a bunch of women. I sware I really need to toughen up my X. I want to get a bul bar for the front, but can't find one for 03'. I also want to put round steps on and get rid of the crappy plastic steps. Sound advice - plastic steps will not handle rubbing a grocery cart catcher in a parking lot. i wasn't paying attention to how close I had parked to it and now the passenger side step is buckled. I also want to get a safari rack for the roof and mount a couple of daylighters on it. Al of this would help its appearance and I am sure the stupid people would get out of my way seeing this coming behind them in their rear view as they did when I flew up behind them in my Bronco. Only Problem - can't afford a set of BFG A/T for the dern thing. Had to settle for the Long Trails and that just makes it even more of a dern station wagon. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I want my balls back

Westin makes nice Bull Bars for the 3rd gens, Lund makes some nice nerf bars, You should get a Yakima basket for the top (like the one found on the NBX).

I treat other drivers with respect if they do the same to me, if other drivers are jackasses, I act the same to them. Doesn't matter what they are driving, although the smaller the car, the more fun it is to be a jackass back. At night, those small cars can be lit up well with the lights on my bumper, too.:

I treat all Asian vehicles that way, from Toyota, Honda, Nissan, to Mitsu blah blah blah.

i give the semi-drivers a break... if he needs to merge, ill flash my lights to OK signal him i also love it when ricers get road rage with me because in my mind all im thinking is, "2.5 tons of american steel vs. something that i would run over on a trail" haha they would ALWAYS get the short end of THAT stick! haha as far as other x drivers.. if they have it modded in any way, they have some sort of passion for it... so i cut em slack

i do the same thing...when a semi passes me i flash my brights when they're ok to turn back into my lane...they actually like it, it makes it easier for them


i don't respect chevy owners, or honda owners, or toyota, or any japanese/chinese cars, i respect the nice bmw owners and i give tremendous respect to mopar owners (i'm a mopar guy myself, but ford comes a close second[very close])
