Another OHV M90 build

The ones i posted say 91-94 but im 90% sure they fit all ohv.they have spots for two O2 and a egr. which a 91-93 don't even use so don't know why they list them for this years,if anything they should be listed as 94-2000.i had to plug the egr, also i only have one O2.i plugged one and put my wideband in the other.

I figured Id just go ceramic coating as I am unable to bake anything in the oven because of fumes.
i have a mother in-law living with us that trashed her lungs from smoking. Id be strung up by the knackers if I did paint baking at home.

Post a couple pics of your manifold and y pipe/collector.with shipping the way it is i know you don't wanna get the wrong ones.

I sure hope the ones I ordered fit. Pacesetters site says yes, but summits site says Ranger only. Im sure they all fit the motor, but Im worried about space, and the collectors alligning to the rest of the exhaust. I'll try to post pics, but I dont even know how I'd get at it to take a pic that shows anything.

which ones did you order? If you ordered the ones in your link you may end up returning them, as the ranger setup may be different. The explorer part number is different, and includes the y-pipe

I ordered the ones in the link, as the pacesetter web site says those are the ones.

the differences may not be on how they bolt on, or egr. the differences may be in how close they are to the frame, and front diff. remember, 94 and down ex suspension, and front cross members are different. 98 and up rangers should be the same as a 95 and up explorer.

I honestly don't know now.Aww see what i started.sorry for the headache don, figured it would be a easy cut and dry ordering thing:(

Yup, nothings straight forward.
You pay your money, and take your chances.

At least if they dont fit, I have a great argument with pacesetter.

My new water pump showed up yesterday, so I started cleaning up the timing chain cover from the donor motor. What a gooey mess. I just don't want anything clogging up the new clean oil passages trashing my new motor. I'll install the new water pump tomorrow.

My rod cap bolts won't ship from summit till the 15th of October. This will set thing behind the dates I was hoping for.

i would grab everything your using from the donor motor, and head to the carwash to hit it with degreaser, then nail it with the wand.
what does jegs say for a shipping time for the bolts?

They say the rod bolts will be at their warehouse on the 15th. I think the timing cover, and engine mounts are the only two things from the donor motor ill be using. They are nice and clean now.
I'll hit the outside of the cover with a wire wheel, and bolt on the waterpump. Then they are ready for paint. I think I'll get away from the boring ford Grey.

:D

The more I see that motor the more I start to like it.

Really, how much motor do you see when its in the truck?

So, it looks like those headers are going to be holding up my summit order even longer. Cant really get the bottom end together without those rod bolts.
My pistons shipped from Rockauto today.

Lol, mark and his famious "Lego block" motor. Don, as for waiting for parts, it happens. That and in the end it will be worth waiting for. When I did the 5L swap the headers took almost 3 months to get here, lol! Did you order main bolts for the pan conversion?

Thought you all was going to just swap all those parts?i looked awile ago for those bolts and couldn't find them any where.arp could make me a set but wanted a arm and leg for them.if you plan on putting the ohv pan on your motor you will have to remove them and use ohv main bolts or the ohv pan won't fit and im not 100% sure a ohv pan will fit a sohc.should tho
