Added a few things:

First is the 5 speed conversion:

Most of you know what an automatic explorer looks like so I won't post up the before shot...also I didn't take one. So here's the after including the new radar detector I wired up to the overhead console. There's an Apten chip hiding somewhere in there too.

I also replaced these old steps with some custom sliders from JCR Offroad here in Kalamazoo:

Found some time to add a winch to my bumper too! Warn 9.5xp.

Drew, I was about to ask you how you were able to post in the elite registry. ;)

Looks really, really nice Mike!

I absolutely LOVE that front bumper. Very nice X.

this is kinda an old thread, but sick sick truck. looks really good. the front bumper with the winch is amazing.

Thanks :D

I love your truck, Arnie. How much did those sliders run ya?

$200 if I remember correctly.

Nice looking ride,,It reminds me of someone I know :D
I like the 16" rims..I would have liked to start out with that but 15 " with larger rubber will have to do..Nice job on your customizing!

where did u get the front bumper? i didnt think anyone sells so so did u have it custom made? was the winch mount built in or did you modify it to fit the winch?

I took the Explorer to a place called KozOffroad in Midland, MI. I simply asked him to build a bumper that will hold a winch. The plate that holds the winch is actually welded to the bottom of the frame rails and the bumper is where the fairlead and everything else is mounted.

Great looking truck
damn i movedat the wrong time last year I lived Outside of Holland Michigan
