Hey The tires on my explorer are getting down to the wear bars and need to get new tires soon. Do y any of you have any recomenations on new tires. They are for the stock 16inch rims. I have the GoodYear Wrangler RT/S on right now and was pleased with them. I need something that has good tread life and handels well on the road. I do need some tires that are good in the snow because I end up pulling my friends out of ditches in the winter. I dont care about noise but they need to be able to tow well.

Thanks Any Info would help
Ryan

the new goodyear wranglers are very quiet and have good tread life and traction.

i went from the rt/s you have to the procomp at's.
i payed about $600 for the set mounted...wont be as cheap now, four wheel parts was having a sale.
they have real good traction, road manners, and a 50,000 mile warranty.
you can also get a protection plan for them (i did), in case you ever get a flat.

My vote is for Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos. I suggest you take a look at tirerack.com where you can read lots of reviews on any tire you are considering.

Second vote for the Bridgestone Dueler REVO's...had 'em on my X...very good tires.

I also have Bridgestone Dueler Revos Excellent tire's I highly recommend them.

i have BFG All-Terrains. I do some off roading and thought they would be a little bit better there. From what i have read, if your do more street riving the Revos will be a little bit better for you. I have also read that you cant go wrong with the revos or the BFGs.
