I had someone recommend BFG M/T tires and I was wondering what you guys thought about those tires or if there is a better tire at a reasonable price. I am looking for a 31 X 10.5 and putting them on 15 X 8 rims. Thanx

I like mine, the only problems I have had with mine is I have destroyed a couple of sidewalls but I tend to drive a little hard off road, my next set of tires will probably be a set of 35" BFG M/T's

I've had mine for a while and I've done alot of wheeling with them, and they've held up real well. I'd suggest them. although, my next set of tires will not be these

what are you gonna use it for? I would recommend the BFG ATs if its a DD that sees alot more road time than trail time. The ATs are a great tire that will get you where you wanna go offroad, and then keep you happy on the road as well.

I got my Kumhos for about $40 less a tire, and I have two friends with BFG MT's... the BFG's are great, but I think that $40 less per tire is significant money and the Kumhos are very good.

If you want peformance than get them. You can also get the steel radial mud king for less money. They are both made from BFG and are both great tires. Id say equal. I have used the steel radial mud king on 2 trucks, one that i have took in the snow and mud. I wouldnt go with any other tire.

I finally drove mine in the the snow. They are as bad as I thought they would be.
good in deep snow, really bad on hard packed or ice. They are a great mud tire.
Over all they are a good tire.

How are they in rain?

I have these in 33 10.50's . They seem like most other tires to me in the rain. I have not had any problems with them. As with any tire you should use more caution on rain slicked roads. But overall they are great tires and I love them.

they are great in the mud. u can get long life out of them. i've seen people get 60,000mi out of them. now thats good mileage. they are not siped so ice and stuff won't be soo hot with them. but that goes for most mt's. only other tire i'd buy other than the bfg mt's is a tsl swamper (which i plan on doing after mine are gone) not much else will beat the bfg's in mud no matter how small or big the difference they will beat them. although the mud grapplers look awesome and probably preform great. i know nothing about them. but i assume they'd be a really good mud tire. anyways the bfg mt's are a great tire  and u won't be dissapointed if u get them.
