I have an interesting problem that I have not seen before. After about a week of driving my brake caliper pens are actually coming out of the calipers to the inside of the truck. I have to hammer them back in. More specifically it is the left side that is doing it. The right side is showing signs of wanting to come out too but they are a little more stubborn than the left side. When I apply the brake you can hear a binding sound. Any ideas?

When this happened to my '92, it was because I had put a couple of the pins in upside down.

HHHMMMMM

Well, Well. I think I will go and take A look because I did install them about 6 months ago. Could be it. Thanks.

Slide pins are installed incorrectly, I agree. :)

We all klearn the hard way.

Also make sure the mounting surfaces on the knuckle and the caliper are clean, the pins are clean, the rubber is in good shape, the lock tabs are not bent, and you dont push them through too far when you do flip them over.......

Use lots of grease on those suckers......
