After doing my old F250 with this item http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-Clutch...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a7ea9823a&vxp=mtr . I would think that someone like you could adapt the same idea towards yours. It was like having a whole new clutch in the 250 AND I thought I was going to have the replace the master cylinder in it because it was leaking in the cab along the rod. Turns out that deal I posted fixed that too since it didn't allow the rod to have so much movement it was not supposed to have. I don't see why this would not work from what I remember when I took my clutch stuff out of my Ex.

I think that would be more hassle than it is worth. The broken bushing had 212k on it so hopefully the new one will last just as long.

On the to-do list:
plug my tire, I found a bolt or lag screw in it and decided to put the spare on to drive home on
Put in new spark plugs which are overdue. Engine has a bad miss and new spark plugs should fix that
Investigate why my passenger side speakers are not working
Fix broken door linkage on the door behind the driver seat (I cant even open it from inside or out )

Finished my to-do list. I'm sure there will be more with the next 2-3 weeks but for now everything seems good.

I took my tire to Discount and they wouldn't fix the flat, called my tire unrepairable because of a few sidewall "scratches" that have been there for 3+ years. I took it home (now flat with unseated beads and the bolt still in it ) and plugged it myself. It was a 1/4" x 1" long bolt that went through the tire.

Swapped in new Motorcraft spark plugs. All the old ones were worn down, the gap was uniformly about 10 thousandths over spec. All looked good, nothing out of the ordinary.

Passenger side speakers was an easy fix, a cable to my MP3 player had come partially unplugged.

Pulled the door panel off from inside (not very fun) and found the culprit was a broken plastic piece that threads on the outside door handle rod. I went to 2 auto parts places looking for one in the Help! section and finally went to the dealer which had a supply under the front counter. $6 for a small piece of plastic :thumbdwn: I also put in a new interior door handle found in the Help! section for $10 which did the trick as well, the old one's mechanicals were too worn to operate the rod enough to open the door. I also took the opportunity to lube all the door lock/latch mechanisms as some were sticking. Much better now.

...And you should have called me when you were at the tire store...I would have vouched for ya that those tires where scratched up 3 years ago...I got pics..

Finally got around to replacing my body mount bushings with the Daystar kit. Here is my how-to thread on that project: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=389677

I ordered a new exhaust pipe from my muffler back today too after a few small rust pinholes turned into big holes when I poked them. I decided it was not worth repairing the pipe so I just ordered a replacement Dynomax pipe as I have a modified Dynomax exhaust.

Now that the body bushings are replaced I can work on repairing some minor body damage from Moab this year under my driver side taillight. I also plan to repaint my steering stabilizer soon as it is starting to look really bad from the paint chipping off.

I will take a before and after when I fix it. I already smacked it with a rubber mallet so it would quit rubbing on the lift gate

Steering Stabilizer repainted, new exhaust tailpipe modified and installed. Took a day trip yesterday and ripped a lug off the BFGs, the steel belts are showing on 1 of them now.
